I received my undergraduate degree in professional communications and organizational leadership from Duquesne University. My passion for sports and my intellect and scholarship for leadership theory and practice are the very essence that I pursued and obtained a Master’s degree in sports leadership from the same university, the first on-line program of this kind in the United States.
Of course, my favorite teams are Pittsburgh regional sports organizations, professional, collegiate and high-school and my favorite sports are professional football and college basketball. You may ask why sports. My response is very simple — it is about the competition, collaboration, compromise and team-building — several approaches and elements of leadership.
I have the knowledge to engage in dialogue, make a case for my thoughts and write about athletes, events and current topics in the industry.
